Having been heavily influenced & inspired by her love for R&B and Hip-Hop growing up, it just made perfect sense to her that her sound became a fusion of the two, upon discovering the world of techno. Hence, Ghetto House.

“Imagine if the movies ‘White Chicks’ & ‘Space Jam’ had a baby!”- that’s how Kylie would best describe it.

Like how dynamite comes in small packages, her explosive energy came as a surprise to many, sending waves across the Singapore scene. Turning up the heat with layers of breaks, garage & old skool rap, her finesse has led her to playing for the likes of reputable music collectives & signature venues such as the Manifest Pool Parties, DoMeKinky!, YesYou, Wild Pearl, Zouk, Potato Head, KOMA, HighHouse, Tuff Club, Collective Minds, GrooveTop & Behind The Green Door. Her sound has taken her abroad to venues such as Mercure Miri Weekender & Section 8, Melborune. She has also taken the stage as a supporting act for renowned artistes like Matchy, Didi Han, Hayden James, DJ Sudi, Jaden Thompson, Kolter, Shimza & Sam Divine.

Half of A1kS techno duo, David started with djing in 2005, and played in some of the most relevant clubs/events in the underground scene in Europe and Asia.

In the early beginnings of David’s musical journey, he stayed awake to tape-record live radio broadcasts by major Italian clubs, then created his original compilations, all with an old stereo. As soon as he laid hands on his first pair of Pioneer CDJ-100s in 2004, he began to spread his holistic, broad-minded collection of dance music with deep, funky, tech to soulful house influences. It brought him to Magazzini Generali, Amnesia, Milano Design Week and Milano Fashion Week in Italy, playing alongside artists like Davide Squillace, EarthLife, Cosmo & Kramer, Rolandson, Francesco Farfa, Adriano Canzian and Idriss D, and to other parts of the world like Germany, Spain, Turkey, Czech Republic, Macedonia, Singapore, India, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.

Currently he is living in Singapore, and he is bringing his set in clubs and events like Headquarters, Kilo Lounge, Ce La Vi, Tanjong Beach Club, Sunday Social and BeerFest Asia. David’s love of radio also led him to co-host his own program, Sinestesia, on BMradio.it (since 2010) with music partner Michel Meroni from 2015. Together, they have played in Italy, Czech Republic, Germany and Singapore as A1kS (A Thousand Shades), a collaboration that seeks to explore and express “a thousand shades” of electronic music. Armed with bonus knowledge of analog machines and music production software and sequencers, the duo is currently working on the release of their first EP.

Shanghai-born, Singapore-raised and educated in London, Eden has a track record nothing short of impressive. With the ability to transcend the boundaries of genres, Eden’s fusion of bass music, house, disco & soul renders his wide acclaim and demands.

Dubbed as the most badass DJ to have ever graced the decks of the North London-situated Silver Bullet club. It did not take too long for the London circuit to recognize the many talents of this Shanghai-born, Singapore raised creative.

While juggling a double life between night and day, Eden has played alongside Joey Negro, Norman Jay (MBE), Joker, Caspa, Giles Peterson and many other luminaries. Since take off, he has played in Berlin and Stockholm, completed several collaborative projects with 12-3 Recordings and its artists. His capability as a global DJ has proven once again at the inaugural Intel PowerUp DJ competition which he was placed as runner-up, while his set has gained praises from the judges; Benji B and Zed Bias.

Back in Asia, the sound of Eden did not cease as he ran the longest running residency and weekly Friday Affairs mixtape show on now-defunct China’s one and only electronic dance radio station, UDance Radio China.

On a larger scale, Eden has supported Stereophonics, Rudimental, Mumdance, toured with Laura Steele and performed at summer festivities both in and outside London, including a show with ClockWork at the 2014 Berlin Festival.

His next ambitious project is to adopt the “Great Wall of Sound” and turn it into a globally recognised music label, receiving attention from Grammy-nominated multi-platinum producer, J-Vibe, local grime/Hip-Hop outfit, Ksounds, producer Sam Frank and other luminaries. Established in 2012, Great Wall of Sound has since released 2 albums, several Eps and also launched a merchandise brand called MerciMuse that focuses on combining design and heritage.

Currently located back in Singapore, Eden is an extended crew member of Baow Baow (宝宝), a Collective that is strongly rooted in the Bass scene. Other projects involved with are #Vinyloftheday and Singapore Community Radio, platforms that curate culturally creative content.

As a resident DJ for Louis Vuitton Singapore, Eden still holds down club nights and festivities.
